wished i had read the reviews before i went here. This company is terrible. the sales men are liars and after service rubbish. steer well clear. If you have any dealing with someone called andy totaly ignore him because he lies.

I have only given 1 star because it wouldn't let me move on if i left it on zero. this company is the worst car sales company i have ever dealt with. i was sold a car that had fault after fault after fault. too many to list. I have contacted them several times (mostly spoken with someone called andy, his favorite expression is "sorry sir i forgot") only to be lied to time after time. i have told all my freinds, family and work colleagues to avoid this place at all costs and i urge anyone reading this to do the same.

We bought a VW Golf from Car City recently. the main dealer looked at it afterwards and identified a couple of issues. it as not clear to me whether they were covered by the warranty but the guys at Car City took it in, fixed everything including one other item the main dealer did not notice and did not charge anything extra. I would recommend Car City to anyone for good value and excellent after sales service.

On 2/8/20 I went to look at car and have a test drive. It was just what I wanted. It had some lights on the dash and no parcel shelf to which I was told would be corrected before it was picked up and also it would be cleaned and serviced, because of this I gladly gave over my non-refundable deposit and arranged to pick the car up on 7/8/20 at 0930. I further rang on 4/8/20 to enquire about the parcel shelf and was assured it was ordered. On the 7th I took a 50 minute bus ride and 30 minute walk to get to car city on arrival i was greeted by the man that sold me the car, not with a hello but with a " I am fuming, they should have cleaned your car and haven't. You'll have to wait." No mention of how long. He then drove off in a car. The second salesman then came out and said he was going to take the car to a car wash and off he went. When he returned I had a look at the car, it had not been cleaned on the inside, the lights were still on the dash and there was no parcel shelf. They had put a new battery on it, but because he couldn't find the manual there is no code to reset the radio and navigation system. One of the lights was the low tyre pressure which they couldn't turn off. The reason for this i found out on the drive home was it had a puncture.. Not forgetting it had not been serviced So after £9600 I have a car that needs servicing, valeting, with built in sat nav that doesn't work, no radio and a space saving wheel. Absolute joke. Very poor .

Didn't even know what car i was coming to see. Informed the check engine light came on during a 'test drive' But I'm sure it was on before the so called test. Would know by Sunday whats going on. Waited all day, got nothing so went down there and an hour before closing they checked on the status of the car at the garage, and the garage was closed, the person i was dealing with was not in during Sunday after he said he would be. Lied to 3 times on the phones too. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY!!!! Unhelpful, unprofessional, not caring at all. Will be sharing these experiences across social media to help stop companies like this SCAMMING good people.

Unfortunately we fell into the same category as a reviewer in May. We bought an Audi A5 from Dave on the 7th of June. I paid Dave a deposit so that the car can be ready for collection. On getting to the car dealership the car still was not ready. After almost waiting for 6 hours, the car finally arrived. We were about to drive off when we the engine won't start. They had to change the battery. They did this and we drove off. On getting home we remembered that we forgot to collect our deposit. I got in touch with Dave via text and he asked me to forward my bank details. This was done immediately. It took another 7days to actually refund £100 deposit back. Exactly 3 weeks after the purchase, the car started having problems with the gear box. We went to an Audi specialist who confirm that the car's gear box was malfunctioning. I called Dave the explain and he said he will get back to us. A week later we have been calling both the office and Dave himself but he is ignoring the calls. We decided to now call Auto guard who they claim to be using for warranty coverage but to our surprise once we gave Auto guard the registration number they could not recognise the car on their System. This means the warranty was never registered in the first place. Now we may also decide to go the legal route to get car city to take responsibility for the way we were mislead. Please any one reading this DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS YOU WILL BNE PUTTING YOURSELF IN UNNECESSARY GRIEF AND HEADACHE. THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE TO HAVE ONE STAR AT ALL.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Disgraceful service! Cash buyer (£14,000) left deposit on a Saturday came to collect the car on the Wednesday the car hadn't even been valeted. I needed a car ASAP as i have livestock so i took the car home - once home i realised i didn't have the locking wheel nut, i called and they just kept saying they would call back - never did. After 3 days i noticed it had a power steering leak and the car was having a power loss at around 30mph they offered to have the car back and fix it, they messed me around for 4 days saying they were collecting the car that day and never turned up. Finally they collected it and had the car for SEVEN DAYS. I test drove all seemed fine until the next day when the power loss continued my friend plugged it into his computer and the car has come up with 7 faults.. I rang the garage, Dave, Wasim & Oscar all who are ignoring me, i'm now £14,000 out of pocket with a car i cannot drive. They will not take the car back and give me a refund so i'm having to go down the legal route! Disgraceful company! Do not buy from here it will save you a lot of money & hassle.

Extraordinarily corrupt company, VERY DISHONEST, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, they appear to take your deposit and keep it, regardless of the fact that it should be returned if you choose not to buy the car you put a holding deposit on. I can only assume the owner Hussain Ishfaq is very short of money and so decides to keep peoples deposit money

DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!, they take your £100 holding deposit that's supposed to be subject to viewing the car, telling you all the time you are on the telephone, "don't worry, if you view the car but don't buy than we refund your deposit in 3/4 days" I have waited almost 3 weeks, the last week they have ignored my emails and phone messages to the salesman.
