Driver arrived 15 minutes later and on top of that, nor myself or the driver were informed that there was a mortal accident at M25 (while the departure time was suggested by the cab company based on what time we wanted to arrive). We found out when we were going there and had to take an alternative path which took 2h30 so we arrived at Gatwick 40 minutes before the flight, having still to dispatch a luggage and run to the gate with a 5-year old. The airline was friendly and accepted to reopen the dispatch for us so we got it but we were stressed, transpiring and tired when we arrived at the gate. Very bad experience!
