Although the room itself was clean and nicely presented, I thought the hallway was very dirty and smelled strongly of smoke. The room was very hot (couldn’t be helped) and was told there were no fans, fair enough but it really was boiling as it was the top floor. Absolute barrage of automated messages prior to arrival. Needed some of the info and managed to find what I needed but would be very confusing for some people. The mattress on the bed wasn’t very good quality and the pillows were very thin. Needed 3 to get to a decent height. A lot of room for improvement.

10 Minilla road Bristol is a spacious property in ideal location for exploring Clifton and Bristol However, 2 of the beds were difficult to access for the elderly/disabled, glass top of dining table was not fixed to base , unable to open windows during heatwave &. * Safety compromised on the first day because front door to the building did not work and was always open * No direction for location of keysafe in hall, it was in a cupboard * Person answering my phone-call insisting it was clearly in email, it was not. * Cold water always warm for at least a minute ( legionella risk), takes time to get cool. Likely installation faulty, cold and hot pipes touch on the way up the attic. * Toilet dirty * Toilet radiator electric on full. I turned it off. * No instructions for heating controller. I turned it off. * Bedroom too warm. Weather was cool during our stay. * Bed is too narrow and pushed back two sides against the wall while there is enough space for a bigger bed and only one side against a wall. * Bed not comfortable. * No bedside tables.

Some suggestions to improve the experience. General info.&Wi Fi info passcode etc. should be visible on site as info. on back of router incorrect.Having all your info. on line when no mobile signal or Wi Fi when arriving is a problem. Washbasin in bathroom on arrival blocked, we cleared it. Check screws on chairs and small table, sitting room, loose in some cases. Light bulb , sitting room needs replacing. Cupboard in hall adjacent to kitchen needs attention, come adrift at some point, not us. Sign ,The Old Dairy, would be advantageous if visible from the road. Nowhere to recycle in cottage. No broom, mop ,cloths or vacuum to tidy. For health and safety reasons , non slip mat in bath essential. A shelf in Bathroom would be useful to house ones toiletries. Front door, internal bolt at bottom of door is permanently protruding, an ankle catcher. Garden could do with a gate and a couple of gaps on the roadside hedge filling in, to keep the dog in. The cottage apart from these small things that can be easily addressed was quite adequate for our short stay. Thanks , Best Regards

Lovely house got everything there nice and clean,easy access and great location. Only downside the oven and trays weren’t cleaned and were covered in grease but everything else was spot on
