We have made the tough decision to downsize over the next 12m and wanted an idea on the value of our property, plus jobs we could do to enhance its saleability. We have used Miller Metcalfe before, with great results. Kelly provided information to introduce herself and called beforehand. She arrived on time and was super professional, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the local market. We felt that she 'got' our house and understood the kinds of people who might be interested to buy it. She advised which rooms were fine as they were and which might benefit from a few tweaks. Kelly's valuation was in the region we anticipated, again with good advice about the risks of pricing too high and the possibility of selling prices dropping over the next year. The whole process gave us confidence that Miller Metcalfe are highly likely to be our 'go to' agents again when it's time to sell.

Overall experience was good but when I had conflict of interest with the solicitors as the seller and myself had chosen the same, Miller Metcalfes conveyance team recommended me to a company with a discount etc and that’s when the real nightmare began. From experience if there is conflict of interest don’t use their conveyance team as that really was putting an end to my purchase.

Sold my house with Miller Metcalf in 2023. The initial consultation and quoting was great, fast, good pricing and good explanations of the services. They then put my for sale sign up with no notice 1 week before it went live, and then when it went live I was receiving calls for viewings to be told they did not have the time to do the viewings and I would have to do them myself. In my initial meeting I stated I did not want to do my own viewings due to the emotional connection to the house. Miller Metcalf do not tell you this, but they do not offer viewings or say they 'do not have time' after 5pm, when most people need to view, Therefore it leads to you doing it yourself. They also tell you that they will put your viewings in blocks to save having to prepare your house everyday, but this does not happen either. What Miller Metcalf did not know is that I stayed at a neighbours for a visit that was booked at a weekend to watch and see what was happening when my viewing was taking place, as I had a suspicion due to other viewings at other properties that they would rush through the clients. This turned out correct and resulted in one family being in my property 50 seconds, and another family being in 1 minute and 20 seconds. No talking though the property, back ground of the property or talks of the area. When viewing houses with other estate agents I had my given booklets with house information and area information. It just was not great. In the end, it was the viewing that I myself gave on my property, where I had the clients in 15 minutes which sold the property. I then felt that due to the buyers being eager to move in, everything felt very pushed to complete by Miller Metcalf to keep their buyers happy. All in all, miller Metcalf were ok, The house went live online nice and fast but I would not recommend Miller Metcalf or use them again.

Dear Miss Nicole Knight, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments regarding the initial consultation, pricing, and explanation of our services. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the lack of notice when putting up your for-sale sign. We are disappointed to hear your feedback in regard to viewings. Our working hours are 9am - 5:30pm, offering viewing slots 6 days a week and try to accommodate as best we can. From time to time, however, we prefer not to, we will ask vendors to accommodate showing buyers around so that we don't lose the interest. We did arrange a block viewing on your property where the appointments were booked 15 minutes apart. We take a lot of time creating digital brochures that are sent to buyers prior to their viewings giving them a range of information required on the property, ensuring they are fully informed prior to the appointment, and our team is there to answer any questions should they have any. We also successfully negotiated an offer 102% of your asking price. We do take your comments on board and will use them to improve our service in any way we can. Thanks, Miller Metcalfe

I have recently rented a gorgeous property through Miller Metcalfe Bolton and they have been wonderful. Francesca has looked after me throughout with clear and prompt communication, nothing has been too much trouble and they also accommodated for me viewing the house a second time as the first time was a video call due to my location - BIG thanks to Amy for that and and her generosity afterwards. Would definitely recommend them to anyone house hunting in the area! Absolutely fab!
