Hello,
I went in with 3 issues on my motorbike. Front wheel was continuously squeaking, the rear brake was also squeaking when applied and lastly a rattling noise that sounds like a helicopter when engine braking on gears 1, 2, 3 (it goes away when clutch is applied). I went in the service with a video to show the team so they know what kind of noise to look out for, they didn't even want to watch the video and just completely disregarded me! Which I found very rude.
Out of the 3 issues, only one seems to have been rectified which is the front wheel squeaking, so thank you for that. However, engine braking still makes a rattling helicopter like noise and the rear brake still squeaks.
I am really not happy as to how it was carried out, especially the team not even wanting to look at the video. As for the rear brake, I was told it's probably something to do with the callipers. Well if it is, then why isn't it fixed? Squeaking brakes over time reduces the brake efficiency which can be dangerous in the long-term, and this is a brand new bike. It makes me sad that nowadays we never get the service we pay for, a customer just becomes another number.
I would like to raise a complaint if possible please. It's a brand new bike which shouldn't be having this many problems, and if there are problems the team should listen to the customer. Thank you for reading!
